Pete Bell - Hospitalized

Pete Bell 

Dear Softball Family, We received word through Jay Kint that Pete is in the hospital. He is being treated for a staff infection. We understand that recently he'd been preparing to undergo treatment for esophageal cancer. A couple of days ago he was hospitalized for an infection and will be at Banner Boswell for a couple more days. Pete asks that we keep him in our thoughts and prayers while the physicians get the infection under control.

Scott Mitchell - Health and Prayers

Scott Mitchell

We connected with Scottie today since he's been noticeably absent from his team. He said he's currently following up with his physicians after having a stent put in to help his heart with blood flow. Last year he was out all year with a hip replacement and by pass surgery. He returned this year only to have the second summer session cut short by weakness and breathing difficulties. He went to the hospital for assessment and underwent the angioplasty. 

Let's support Scottie with our prayers and keep him in our thoughts. We hope he continues to heal and get stronger everyday!
