2026-2027 "Pitch In" Community Support Drives

With the start of the 2026 fall session, Angels will take part in the Sun City Softball events and administer collections for the community. Our Angels committee set up the season's softball and community support opportunities we call "Pitch In". You'll find them below.  Watch for details before each "Pitch In" occasion.

Dysart Community Center "Play Ball" Program (Spring and Summer Annually)

Dysart Community Center will hold its special "play ball" event at Gaines Park in Surprise. 

Our Softball Club is invited to show up to help in so many ways. 

Your generosity has already provided gloves, numbered T's, and snacks for every kiddo. We need coaches and support staff from our leagues to help the kiddos.

The kiddos hav fun and learn a lot about teamwork and skills. We look forward to another Dysart "play ball" event.  Your Angels in the Outfield Committee thanks you for all you do to reach out to our community! 

Food Drives (Fall and Spring Annually)

Your Angels in the Outfield Committee wish to thank you for your participation in the "Pitch In" Campaigns. This Softball Family contributes generously annually $6.000 in food, household items and cash. All collections benefit those community members in need through Banner Olive Branch Senior Center and St Vincent dePaul here in Sun City.  

Thank You to our many Angels Volunteers! You give your time and caring personalities to help at the collection sites. Nicely played ladies and gentlemen!                                                                   

Tuesdays and Thursdays in November and February.  

Angels in the Outfield committee and volunteers will be on hand to collect cash donations. Make checks payable to: Sun City Softball/Angels

Let's help restock Pantry Shelves to help area seniors in need of a little assistance

11 am - 5 pm

Games: noon, 1 pm & 3 pm for players age 75+ see Larry Chapman

The Memorial Service: 2 pm Pastor Steve Starr

Early Supper Served: 2:30 - 4 pm

The Memorial is a service offered to all members, their families and friends. 

We remember those in our club (players & partners/spouses) who passed on before us during the current softball season.

Families and Friends: will be invited and recognized. A time with open mic for anecdotes and memories to be expressed.
